Additional Training

 

~ Small Group Training - a group of 2-4 individuals who would personal train together are still put through an individual Functional Movement Screening.  The program for the group will be designed to challenge each individual through progressions and modifications when needed. 

~ Functional Movement Screening (FMS) -  the screening tool used to identify limitations or asymmetries in seven fundamental movement patterns that are key to functional movement quality in individuals with no current pain complaint or known musculoskeletal injury. These movement patterns are designed to provide observable performance of basic loco-motor, manipulative and stabilizing movements by placing an individual in positions where weaknesses and imbalances become noticeable if appropriate mobility and motor control is not utilized.

~ Preparation Appraisal - a half hour or full hour of discussing prior activity, eating and workout habits.  The member will have the option of getting their adipose tissue calculated, suggestions on classes and/or personal training activities that could benefit them and/or help them reach their goals.

~ Exercise Programs - a written progression of exercises that the client can do daily/weekly over a period of months.

~ Strength to Power Ratio - great for all levels of athletes to pin point deficiencies in the body.  It will let the individual know what they need to improve upon to balance their body out.  The Ratios are compared against lower body, upper body and core strength using a variety of lifts and exercises. Ultimately, this will tell you how strong your body is pound for pound and what you can do going forward to balance your strength and be an all-around well-balanced athlete.
